Climate Change, Grow your own

Landshare was set up by River Cottage in 2009 to bring together people with a passion for home grown food, connecting those who have land to share with those who need land for cultivating food. Since its launch, it has grown into a thriving community with over 60,000 members and helps people to get growing in many ways. It is an excellent place to look if you:

*Want to grow your own produce but don’t have any space to do it

        * Have a spare bit of land you are prepared to share

        * Support the idea of freeing up more land for growing

        * Are already growing and want to join in a community

        * Can help by sharing knowledge, lending tools, spare time

Visit http://www.landshare.net/ to get growing now!

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and who is keen to "manage" the effects of shifting weather patterns on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and it has evolved over 12 years to inspire engagement with climate change outside our back doors, in our personal gardens and green spaces. My mission is to fertilise and expand this platform to grow a community of global gardeners communicating about the effects of climate change on our plants and exploring how each individual can make small changes in our lives to become more sustainable. The future of our gardens and #OurPlanet is in our hands - please plant your own seeds for our collective sustainable future.
