RHS environment issues at Chelsea Flower Show

With more than 85 percent of the UK population living in towns and cities, domestic gardens make up a significant component of the urban landscape. This year’s RHS Environment exhibits offer perspectives on the science of urban greening, highlighting how we can make the most of our green spaces – no matter how small – and help counter the effects of our changing climate.

The aim of his year’s RHS Environment at the Chelsea Flower Show is to  inspire visitors and give them the knowledge to implement sustainable gardening techniques.Highlighting the changing perspective on urban greening is a great concept for Chelsea and will certainly broaden its audience,

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and is keen to "manage" the effects of the weather on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and I hope that it will continue to grow, allowing global gardeners to communicate about the effects of climate change on our plants and the future of our gardens.
