Climate Change

Prince Charles has announced that from September 8th – 19th, Clarence House will host the ‘Garden Party To Make A Difference’ as part of the prince’s Start initiative which promotes sustainable living.

“Start essentially gives us more control over our own lives by giving us fresh (and sometimes forgotten) ways of making our resources go further. Good news for our environment and good news for our pockets.”

“This festival is just one way in which Start can help to demonstrate how we can all make a difference, however big or small the steps we take.”

What a brilliant idea  –  maybe Eco Garden Parties could become the latest UK summer craze?

Stumbled upon these stunning poppies sheltering from the rain today ,Summer is supposed to return tomorrow and feel sure our gardens will have benefited from the much needed watering,

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and who is keen to "manage" the effects of shifting weather patterns on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and it has evolved over 12 years to inspire engagement with climate change outside our back doors, in our personal gardens and green spaces. My mission is to fertilise and expand this platform to grow a community of global gardeners communicating about the effects of climate change on our plants and exploring how each individual can make small changes in our lives to become more sustainable. The future of our gardens and #OurPlanet is in our hands - please plant your own seeds for our collective sustainable future.
