Climate Change, UK Climate Change

The actions of individuals are responsible for over 40 per cent of the UK’s carbon footprint. We all have an opportunity to reduce the impacts we have on climate change through the choices we make in our lives.

LIVING LIGHTLY = running our homes/ gardens, eating, shopping, travelling and enjoying ourselves with minimal environmental impact

The National Trust  has devised this simple way of maximising how to live a greener life at home and in the garden. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-chl/w-countryside_environment/w-climate_change/w-green_living.htm

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and is keen to "manage" the effects of the weather on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and I hope that it will continue to grow, allowing global gardeners to communicate about the effects of climate change on our plants and the future of our gardens.
