Channel 4 on climate change gardening

The face of Channel 4 News, RHS member Jon Snow, has reported on the changing climate many times, so  is in a good position to make his own judgement on the issue.

I am sure there would be great interest in a TV programme about how the changing climate  is affecting our gardens .Maybe  Channel 4 should consider this concept as it looks as though the BBC are stuck in the Gardeners World format for the forseeable future. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8453991.stm

Big opportunity for a production company to come up with an innovative, engaging series related to climate and gardening – two of the UKs most popular subjects!

Any thoughts on this idea?

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and who is keen to "manage" the effects of shifting weather patterns on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and it has evolved over 12 years to inspire engagement with climate change outside our back doors, in our personal gardens and green spaces. My mission is to fertilise and expand this platform to grow a community of global gardeners communicating about the effects of climate change on our plants and exploring how each individual can make small changes in our lives to become more sustainable. The future of our gardens and #OurPlanet is in our hands - please plant your own seeds for our collective sustainable future.
